How to Create Lunch Box Notes
Lunch box notes are a great way to show your child that you care and that you're thinking about her, even when you're not around. Busy parents can quickly write a note to show their child he's important to them even in the most hectic of times. Parents sometimes aren't sure what to write in these notes or where to begin when creating them, but there are a few simple steps to creating a heartfelt lunch-box note that will speak volumes to your child.
Things You'll Need
- Napkin, piece of paper, note card or photograph Marker or ballpoint pen Stickers

Choose a funny joke from Yahoo! Kids Jokes, and write it on the paper, napkin or photograph.

Choose an insightful poem from Poetry 4 Kids, and write it on the paper, napkin or photograph.

Write an encouraging sentence to your child, such as "Have fun at school" or "I can't wait to go to the fair this weekend!"

Sign the message with the name your child calls you, such as "Mommy" or "Mum" or "Daddy" or "Dada," or a creative name that will elicit a laugh, such as "Captain of Peanut Butter and Jelly."

Fold the note, and apply a sticker to seal it.

Tuck the note into the child's lunch box in a noticeable place, such as under the straw of the juice box.
