Things You'll Need:
- Wet tile saw China marker Water Eye protection Hearing protection Tile nippers
-
Step 1
Mark the tile where the L cut needs to be made with a china marker. A china marker is the best marking tool to use when cutting tile because the mark will stick to the tile when it is exposed to the water.
-
Step 2
Place the tile saw on a stand or table top, and fill the reservoir with water. Plug the power cord into a power supply. Put on eye and hearing protection.
-
Step 3
Place the tile on the saw's cutting table and align the first mark with the blade. Turn on the saw and begin to slowly feed the tile into the blade. Stop when this cut meets the mark for the next cut.
-
Step 4
Flip the tile around and align the blade with the other mark on the tile. Complete this cut in the same manner as the first. When the blade meets the end of the first cut, back the tile out of the blade.
-
Step 5
Hold the tile up and break the cut piece of tile out of the main tile. Use tile nippers to clean the corner of the cutout.
