    Plan Your Date
Timing is everything. Plan to visit Disney on your birthday and receive free admission. If you are traveling during the holidays then you will need to make your reservations well in advance. If you are on a budget, plan to travel during Disney's value time.

  2. Step 2

    Order a Disney CD
Start your Disney Vacation planning at the official Disney web sites:
http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ or http://disneyland.disney.go.com.. Order a vacation CD from Disney. You will be asked what dates you are planning to travel and your CD will be geared for those dates. The CD will take about a week to arrive.

  3. Step 3

    Create Your Budget
Disney Vacations come in all sizes. Once your budget is created you can decide which resort to stay in, how many days you will be able to stay and what type of food you will be able to afford to eat.

  4. Step 4

    Create a Customized Map
On the official Disney Web site you can create customized maps for your visit to each theme park. These maps can be printed on your home computer or you can order them through Disney. By checking the maps and having a plan before you enter the theme parks you will save time and will not miss anything special that you wanted to see.

  5. Step 5

    Compare Packages
Disney and other travel agencies offer special packages for your Disney vacation. Check what they have to offer to get the most out of your Disney Vacation. Many programs will offer you discounts on your Disney travel such as AAA, or AARP. Ask your friends and family what they would recommend for your Disney Vacation.

  6. Step 6

    Read a Disney Travel Book

Visit your local library or select a travel book online to get the nitty gritty on Disney. The travel trip books offer excellent advice such as which direction to tour a park. (Go counterclockwise and there will be less traffic).

  7. Step 7

    Make it Magical
Disneyworld and Disneyland are magical places. Make your vacation affordable, and plan to have enough time to see and do as much as you can. Enjoy watching Disney Movies with your family before your vacation so that the Disney Stories will be fresh in your mind. There is something for everyone in the world of Disney. Disney is a wonderful magical place to be.
