Things You'll Need:
- Time, Canker sores, baking soda
-
Step 1
Canker sores can be caused by a variety of factors such as lauryl sulfate which is found in conventional toothpastes. I don't use conventional toothpaste and I have still gotten canker sores. It is different for each person, but the point is once you get a canker sore what do you do? There are some inexpensive home treatments you can use. This is a remedy that has been know in "home remedy groups" for many years.
-
Step 2
Once you notice that you have a canker sore, you will need baking soda and water. Mix the baking soda and water to form a paste.
-
Step 3
Apply the past of baking soda and water to the sore.
-
Step 4
Let the paste dissolve by it's self.
-
Step 5
After the paste has dissolved check if the burning is still there.
-
Step 6
If the burning is still there apply the paste again and let it dissolve and repeat until burning is gone (usually no more than 2 to 3 times is needed)
