Dont you just hate it when you spill juice on your carpet?

Dont fret! Here's a solution for removing small juice spills from carpet.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Spot Remover
  • All White Towel
  • Cold Water
  • Patience
  1. Step 1

    Act Quickly!

The worst thing to do is to take your time addressing the spill. ALWAYS ACT QUICKLY! Taking your time to address the spill allows the it time to soak into the carpet fibers causing a stain.

  2. Step 2

Grab an clean "all-white" (not multi-colored or colored) towel and gently blot the top surface of the spill. Your goal is to remove as much of the spill as possible from the carpet surface without scrubbing the spot.

  3. Step 3

Sparingly apply a carpet spot remover cleaning agent to a clean section of your white towel. Be careful not to over-saturate!

  4. Step 4

Starting from the outside of the spill, gently blot the spill area working your way into the center of the spill. Be sure to reapply spot remover to a clean section of your white towel as you work your way to the center of the spill.

  5. Step 5

When the spill is completely removed, rinse the area using cold water and blot dry with a clean white towel.

  6. Step 6

If you are unsuccessful in removing the spill, contact you neighborhood carpet cleaning professional.

Tips & Warnings
  • BY ALL MEANS, DO NOT SCRUB! Scrubbing will cause a stain that only a carpet cleaning professional can remove.
  • Remember to rinse using cold water. Failure to do so could leave soil attracting residue.
  • Remember to ask your carpet cleaning professional to apply carpet protector.
