Anytime you go see a show, you should look nice. But in Vegas, the rules are a little less conservative. You can never go wrong with a suit because it can be dressed down or dressed up depending on what you are doing.

Prepare for the show. Don't just throw on what you have in your suitcase. Odds are the suit may have been wrinkled in transit. Get the suit and your shirt pressed or press it yourself. Make sure your shoes are shined and free of scuff marks. Take a shower. Shave.

If you brought more than one shirt, decide which one works best with your ensemble. Depending on the type of show you are seeing and what the rest of the evening entails, you may need to put on a tie. If it's just you and a companion and you are having a romantic evening, put the tie on--you can always ditch it later. If you are going to a more casual show, don't wear a tie and leave the collar button open. It's a more casual look, and it will work for most plans after the show.
