Saddlebags on your motorcycle can offer you some great storage space, but over time and use, they can get worn and get wrinkled. Taking out wrinkles on your leather saddlebags is quick to do and preventing wrinkles just takes a few steps as well. You can keep your saddlebags looking new and crisp.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Iron
  • Paper bag
  • Leather butter
  1. Step 1

Set your iron to the lowest setting. Hang the saddlebag on the ironing board, with one side lying flat on the board. Grasp each end to "pull apart" any wrinkles.

  2. Step 2

Lay your paper bag over the saddlebag.

  3. Step 3

Press your iron onto the saddlebag, making sure to keep pulling at wrinkles so that they iron out. Move the iron around quickly to prevent damaging the leather. Repeat with all sides of the saddlebag.

  4. Step 4

Spread a leather butter onto your motorcycle bag for upkeep.

  5. Step 5

Make sure your saddlebag is hanging or stuffed when not in use to prevent wrinkles.
