  1. Step 1

Open Excel and start a new, blank workbook.

  2. Step 2

Go to Twitter.com and find a page that you would like to follow.

  3. Step 3

Right click the RSS feed logo on the right hand side of the page and copy the link address.

  4. Step 4

In the blank Excel workbook, select a cell that you would like the Tweet to display to. Click the "Data" tab in the ribbon and select "From Web".

  5. Step 5

This will open up a new web query window. Paste the RSS address into the box and click the "Go" button.

This will make the XML for the RSS feed appear in the window. Click the little yellow arrow in the upper right hand corner. This will change it to a checkmark.

Click the "Import" button at the bottom of the box. This will cause a box to pop up with the message

"The specified XML source does not refer to a schema. Excel will create a schema based on the XML source data."

    Click "OK"

  6. Step 6

Next, an import data window will pop up. Verify that the correct starting cell was used and click OK.

  7. Step 7

A lot of columns of information will appear. Hide all of them except for description3 and guid. These two contain the Tweet and the URL.

  8. Step 8

Select the description3 column and select the Home tab on the Ribbon. Click "Wrap Text" under the alignment section. Then resize the column width so that all of the text is visible.

  9. Step 9

Select all of the cells in both the description3 and guid columns. Go to the Design tab on the Ribbon and use the Table:Styles section to style the selection to your liking.

  10. Step 10

    Click "Save".

  11. Step 11

Go to the Data tab on the Ribbon and select the "Refresh All" button to see updated tweets. This will download new tweets into the Excel workbook.
