Every week the New Yorker holds a contest to see who can come up with the most clever cartoon caption!

You can also vote on the previous weeks caption entries.

    Go to the link below to go directly to the New Yorker Cartoon Caption Contest site.

    View their funny image and see what you think of it. If you think of a funny caption to go with it you can submit it to the New Yorker Magazine and see how your wit fares against other witty people.

    Remember, if you think your entry is funny, it probably is. You're not the only one with that kind of sense of humor you know.

    The winner gets a print of the cartoon signed by the artist.

    You can also view and vote on previous weeks entries.

    This is a fun and simple contest.

    The value of the cartoon you will win is $250.
    I guess if you don't like it you can always sell it on ebay or Craigslist. Or you can keep it and smugly show it to all your friends so they will know for sure how clever and successful you are.
