How to Add a Hit Counter on Blogspot

If you have a Blogger blog on Blogspot, you will have a lot of standard options you can add to the layout. One of the things you will not see included on the layout page is the ability to add a hit counter. But one can be added through a third-party vendor.

Log into your Blogspot blog and click on "Layout." Click "Add A Gadget" on the side or the bottom. You can choose where you prefer to have the hit counter. Select "HTML/Javascript" from the list of gadgets. Paste your code in the area of the screen where it says "Content" and click "Save." After you do that, the StatCounter hit counter is installed on your Blogspot.
