How to Wear a Bridal Veil With a Decorative Comb

The proper headpiece to accentuate your overall look on this special day is as important as finding that perfect dress. With so many options you may not know where to begin. The choice of a wedding veil with a decorative comb may be worn in several ways. Choosing to wear the pieces separately allows for removal of the veil for the post wedding festivities while leaving the sparkling accent of the decorative comb.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Veil
  • Decorative comb
  • Bobby/hair pins

    Wedding Veil With Separate Decorative Comb For Up-Dos

  1. Step 1

    Style your hair in the up-do of your choice.

  2. Step 2

    Place the basic comb which comes attached to your veil upside down below your upswept hair with the teeth facing toward the floor.

  3. Step 3

    Push the comb into your hair and rotate until teeth are facing upward and covered completely by the bulk of your hair.

  4. Step 4

    Choose desired location of decorative comb in front of upswept hair. Place comb upside down with teeth facing the front of you head.

  5. Step 5

    Push comb into hair and rotate until teeth are embedded into the bulk of your hair. Secure with bobby/hair pins.

  6. Wedding Veil with Attached Decorative Comb

  7. Step 1

    Remove basic comb that comes attached to the veil when purchased. Replace with decorative comb.

  8. Step 2

    Style hair in desired fashion.

  9. Step 3

    Place the comb upside down on top of head with teeth facing toward back of head.

  10. Step 4

    Push teeth into hair and rotate until comb is secured in hair with teeth facing front of head.

  11. Step 5

    Secure with bobby/hair pins.

  • It is a good idea to do a few trial runs with your hair style including your veil and decorative comb before the big day.
