Things You'll Need:
- Solder removal tool (suction based)
- Soldering iron
- Vise

Step 1
Clamp the circuit board into the vise.

Heat up the soldering iron.

Prepare the solder removal tool. This usually involves clicking the top of the device so that the interior tip of the tool extends outward. The device should begin sucking after you click it.

Step 4
Hold the heated soldering iron against the solder that you want removed. You should hold the soldering iron against the solder until it begins to melt, while at the same time holding the tip of the solder removal tool directly above the solder you are melting. Once the solder melts enough, the solder removal tool should automatically suck it up.
