How to Remove Duplicates From a Palm Treo 700wx

The Palm Treo 700wx is an excellent tool to keep track of dates, contact info, email and, of course, your friends and family through a call. Duplicates of contact info or calendar info, however, can slow down the Palm Treo 700wx and mess up your work day. Using already built-in programs and software, you can remove the duplicate items and information quickly and easily. Take a few moments to get rid of those pesky duplicates and enjoy the true power of your Palm Treo 700wx.

Instructions

1. Go to the "Taskbar" on your Pallm Treo 700wx. Select the "HotSync" application, and choose "Custom."

2. Select "Handheld Overwrites PC" under the Microsoft Outlook options. The change made in the phone will now overwrite anything on the PC, removing current and future duplicates.

3. You can also sync the Palm Treo 700wx with your PC using either the USB cable provided or through the wireless function.

4. Manually delete the duplicate records that appear in your Microsoft Outlook. Re-sync phone to secure changes and deletions.
