Things You'll Need:
- 1/6 yard of thin leather
- Ruler
- Paper bag
- Iron
- Ironing board
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Thread
- Leather sewing machine needles

Step 1
Mark and cut out a 12-by-5 1/2 inch strip of leather.

Cover your leather with a paper bag. Iron down 1/4 inch all around the leather rectangle you cut out.

Top flapFold down and press 3 inches of the wallet, and sew around all four sides of the piece you folded down. This will serve as the top flap.

Step 4
Pull up and fold over 3 inches from the bottom of the leather. Press the leather down.

Step 5
Creating the pocketSew along the sides, close to the edge and back, stitching at both ends. This will create your pocket.

Step 6
Fold over and press the lined top flap you created in Step 3.
