Instructions

    • 1

Buy V-neck cotton t-shirts for each of the players on your team and gather the team together for a jersey party.

    • 2

Cover your table with an old table cloth to protect it from any paint spills. Open your fabric paint and pour it into Styrofoam plates.

    • 3

Lay each shirt on the table with the back of the shirt facing up. Decide which numbers will be on each jersey. Use your ruler to measure down four inches from the collar of the shirt, and make a small marking.

    • 4

Paint the jersey number on the back of the shirt using your paint brush. Paint it big, so that it measures at least eight inches in length and can be easily seen from a distance.

    • 5

Allow time for the paint to dry. Then, turn the jersey over to the front side to complete the front of the jersey.

    • 6

Place the iron-on patch on the right side of the jersey and iron it on; this will serve as the team logo. Underneath the logo, use your letter stencils as a guide to paint on the team name.

Tips & Warnings

  • Be sure to allow paint to completely dry before turning shirts over.
