  • Juicer

How to Make Homemade Aloe Vera Juice

  1. Step 1

Extract the aloe vera gel. Do not use any portion of the outer plant. Use only the innermost gel from inside the leaves: The leaf portion can cause stomach upset. You can extract the gel by simply squeezing it into the measuring spoon.

  2. Step 2

Wash the cucumber and apple, and then peel and chop them. They are now ready for the juicer.

  3. Step 3

Use fresh lemon juice. Squeeze 2 TBS lemon juice into the juicer.

  4. Step 4

Blend well in the juicer. Serve over ice if desired. Add a sprig of mint for a light flavor. Do not keep the juice for longer than one week in the refrigerator.

Tips & Warnings
  • While aloe vera juice can help bowel problems, it can actually increase stomach problems. If you suffer from gastritis or a sensitive stomach, steer clear of aloe vera juice.
