How to Make a Wooden Master Sword
In the "Legend of Zelda" games, you control the character Link. He travels through dangerous dungeons, fighting evil hordes of monsters to fight the epic boss at the end of the game and, finally, save the princess. Link's primary weapon in the game is the Master Sword. With a piece of wood from a home improvement store, you can create your very own wooden Master Sword.

1
Draw the design of the Master Sword on the piece of wood. Make dark lines to see where you will work the wood, because you will be dealing with potentially hazardous tools.
-
2
Cut the wood with the appropriate equipment. Use the circular saw for straight lines, then the jig saw for any narrow edges and short lines. A whittling knife should be used for the finer edges and curves unreachable by both tools.

3
Use the electric sander when you are finished carving out the wood. Use this tool to make sure no splinters are visible on the wooden Master Sword. If there are areas that can't be reached by the electric sander, such as a tiny nook in on the hilt, use sand paper.
-
4
Add primer to the wooden sword. The standard primer color is white, as it is the most effective primer to bring out the best paint color. Leave it to dry for a couple of hours.
-
5
Paint the sword over the primer with the appropriate colors: silver on the blade for a metallic shine, and a combination of blue for the hilt with a touch of gold on the emblem area. Reapply the paint if the color looks thin or spotty. Let it dry for a few hours, and when its finished, you have created a Wooden Master Sword.
