Snowboarding is a fun and exilerating sport! But snowboarding equipment can be very expensive. To help keep you safe and keep your expensive snowboarding equipment in good condition it is important to take good care of your snowboard. Follow these steps to keep your board in top condition!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Wax
  • Snowboard Bag
  • Boarder Shop
  • Clean Cloth or Towel
  1. Step 1

One of the most important things you can do to care for your snowboard is to invest in a snowboard bag. The bag will help keep your snowboard from becoming scraped or damanged during travel and storage.

  2. Step 2

You should also wax your snowboard every week of use. You can wax the board yourself easily at home. However, if you don't feel comfortable or you are a beginner you can take your snowboard to a boarder shop to have it waxed.

  3. Step 3

At the start of the snowboarding season or if you are a frequent snowboarder you will need to have the edges of your board sharpened. Take your board to a boarder shop to have the edges sharpened.

  4. Step 4

After riding your snowboard use a clean cloth or towel to wipe your snowboard off. Make sure you remove any dirt or debris from the board so it stays clean and in good shape.
