Things You'll Need

  • Roll of 4-ply plastic (about 20 feet by 4.5 feet)
  • Plastic stakes
  • Hose with sprinkler

Instructions

    • 1

      Clear the entire area of sticks and stones to protect the plastic from being torn and to ensure a smooth ride.

      Unroll the plastic onto the desired inclined area of the yard.

    • 3

      Hold down the plastic by placing the stakes about every 4 feet on each edge.

    • 4

      Pound the stakes so they are completely flush with the ground.

    • 5

      Place the sprinkler hose along the length of the plastic and adjust the spray.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep in mind while choosing your water hose that even at an incline, the water should be sprinkling on at least 3/4 of the length.

  • Stakes must be flush with the ground for safety.
