Things You'll Need:
- A three or four way
- Car jack
- Patience
- spare tire
-
Step 1
Put the car in park. Get out all the material you need. Walk to the side that tire is flat.
-
Step 2
Get out your three or four way, and while the tire is touching the ground, gently place the three or four way on to one of the lug nuts that is highest from the ground. Place each side of the three or four way onto the lug nut to see which one fits.
-
Step 3
When you found the correct fitting, turn it to the left with the desired force that is needed to unscrew the lug nut. Once lug nut is loose, do the exact same thing with the remaining nuts. Once two or three nuts are loose, get your car jack.
-
Step 4
Once you have the jack , grab the pole by its handle, there is a screw at the bottom of the jack, this is like a key to lock in the pole. Turn the screw to the right until it is steady.
-
Step 5
Roll the car jack to the car on the side where the tire is flat, place the car jack under the frame of the car. Place pole for the jack into the hole, and jack the car up until the car is three inches off the ground.
-
Step 6
Go back to the tire and unscrew the rest of the bolts using step 3. Once this step three is done and all bolts are, pull off tire, and replace the spare tire into the holes.
-
Step 7
Put lug nuts back onto the spare tire and gently turn to the right until tight.
