How to Create Your own Stuffed Animal
Creating your own stuffed animal can be fun! You may not want the average run of the mill teddy bear or kittie. So design your own going by your interests. Maybe something scarey such as a monster animal or wild like a tiger. Use your imagination on this project.

Draw your design to the size you need on the paper. Cut the design out with scissors. On the design mark where you want things like ears,tail,or mouth to go.

Pin your pattern to the fabric. The fabric is up to you. Fur,felt,leather are some suggestions. Then cut out your animal pattern.

Sew up your stuffed animal with the sewing machine. If you don't have one you can do it by hand but be sure to double stitch with needle and thread. Leave a slit for the stuffing to go in.

Stuff firmly sew up the slit well and then if there are any pieces such as ears or tail sew these and stuff in the same way. Sew them on to the body of your stuffed animal. The eyes can be button eyes or embroidered on with needle and thread by hand. The nose can be a seperate piece sewn on by hand or embroidered on. Gee, this is fun isn't it.
