- citronella candles

Step 1
Great spot for a Good TimeFirst find a really nice spot in your yard, under a pretty tree or in a nice garden area. Put a table in the center of your gathering area, place the eating tables around the food table. To prepare the food table for serving: Layer newspaper over the entire table. Put plates, napkins, salt, pepper, butter, sliced lemons and cocktail sauce on the two ends of the table. Hang citronella candles around the eating area from the trees or put a candle on each table. (this will help take care of bugs) Have your music system set up near the eating area but not too close. Play your beach music, jimmy buffet, james taylor, etc. in the background to set the mood.
-
Step 2
At one end of the food table put a 5 gallon pickle jar with sweet ice tea and a ladle and the cups. At the foot of the table put a cooler with ice in it. You can also place a cooler filled with ice and beer or a big round silver wash tub with ice and beer in it. Make sure if you have beer to also place some sliced limes and lemons on the table next to the tea. While you are cooking the seafood boil, everybody can enjoy each others company, the music and ice tea and/or beer. You can serve a small appetizer if you wish. But remember, not too much because the feast will begin shortly.
-
Step 3
Dumped on the Table!Once your Low Country Seafood Boil is ready to serve, just drain it and dump it in a heap in the middle of the food table. Have everyone gather around the table heaping their plates with extraordinary sausage, corn on the cob, new potatoes and fresh shrimp. You can serve a great Key Lime Pie(see recipe by pamatwork) for dessert! Goes great with this dinner....if there is room after the feast!

2 1/4 gallons water
3 Lb smoked beef sausage links cut
into 2 inch pieces

In a large pot, add seafood boil to water and
bring to a boil. Add the sausage and boil

5 minutes later, add the shrimp.
3 minutes later, drain and serve immediately.
( do not wait for the water to reboil after
adding the corn or shrimp - both will be
overcooked).
If any shrimp are left, peel them and serve
over the grits on Sunday.
Frogmore is a small town near Beaufort, SC.
It is the capital of Voodooism in the US.
Dr. Buzzard is still the high priest.
The Medical University of SC actually trains
students how to treat patients who have
