How to Draw Western Cowboy Boots

Cowboy boots have become a major fashion statement in recent years, particularly for women. This new craze, along with the timeworn image of the rustic cowboy in the deserts of the West, make it all the more important to learn to draw a cowboy boot well, and the devil is in the detailing.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Draw the back of the boot.

    Draw the back of the boot. Start at the top of the boot, curve your line around the back of the heel and include the heel of the boot.

    Draw the front of the boot, including only the leg and not the foot part. Include a small notch in the top of the boot, indicating where an extra leather strap will be developed in the drawing.
