Models are tall, slim individuals whose bodies show off clothes to their best advantage. On average male models are usually 5 feet, 11 inches, to 6 feet, 2 inches. Females are usually around 5 feet, 7 inches, and up, with body measurements around 34-24-34. Though not everyone can have these proportions, there are ways to get a model-like body.       Eat a healthy diet. Eat lean protein, such as chicken, lean cuts of beef and fish. Add vegetables, such as lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower and cucumber. Cut down on starches, such as rice, corn and potatoes. Eat 1,500 to 2,000 calories daily, if you are female, and 2,000 to 3,000 calories daily, if you are a male.

      Drink water. Eliminate diet sodas, which can cause cravings, alcoholic beverages, calorie-laden soft drinks and other drinks that can pack on pounds.

      Exercise on a regular basis 5 to 6 times a week. Alternate aerobics with weight training. Walking, running, biking and playing tennis are excellent aerobic activities. Lifting weights at home or at a gym are examples of weight-bearing activities.

      Take care of your skin. Exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells. Use a good moisturizer so your skin glows. Beautiful skin is key to a model-like body.
