How to Make a Nerf Gun Into an Airsoft

Target practice with an Airsoft gun is a fun and much safer way for friends who enjoy shooting to hang out. An Airsoft gun and all its accessories can be purchased at a sporting goods store, or you can make your own Airsoft gun with accessories by utilizing an old Nerf gun.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Nerf gun
• Standard ballpoint pen (like a plain Bic)
• Duct tape
• Pliers
• Airsoft bullets

1. Use pliers to pry off the top and the bottom of the pen. You should be left with an empty barrel.

2. Narrow one end of your pen barrel with your pliers just enough so that your Airsoft bullets can't roll out of it.

3. Wrap the other end of the pen barrel with duct tape until it fits into the barrel of your Nerf gun securely. It is best to do a little tape at a time until you get the right fit.

4. Load the Airsoft bullets down the barrel of the gun and you are ready to use it.

Tips & Warnings

• You can add accessories to your gun such as a spotlight (flashlight), a laser pointer or even another gun simply by duct taping these items in place.
• Be sure to wear protective eye wear when using your new Airsoft gun.
