Use an eyedropper to place nine drops (each) of patchouli, rose and amber essential oils into an amber-colored glass bottle with a cap (1 cup capacity). Add seven drops of frankincense, myrrh and cedarwood essential oils to the bottle. Place five drops of vanilla essential oil into the bottle. Fill the bottle half full of pure almond oil and replace the cap. Shake the bottle and place it in a dark place for up to 21 days. Apply the oil blend directly to your skin as fragrance.

Make scented soap. Add several drops of your Egyptian musk fragrance to homemade glycerin soap. Heat, melt and pour clear glycerin cubes in a double boiler until they dissolve. Remove the double boiler from heat and add as many drops of Egyptian musk as you like. Stir and pour the mixture into prepared soap molds to cool.

    • 3

Make perfume spray. Add 1/4 oz. of glycerin and up to 3 tbsp. of perfumer's alcohol to 27 drops of Egyptian musk. Pour the mixture into a decorative atomizer bottle.

    • 4

Make moisturizing hand and body cream. Dissolve 1 oz. of beeswax and 2 to 3 oz. of cocoa butter in a double boiler. Remove the pot from the heat and add as much Egyptian musk as you like. Stir well and pour the mixture into a clean jar with a lid. Allow the cream to cool and thicken in the opened jar.

    • 5

Add several drops of Egyptian musk to your bathwater along with fresh rose petals for a luxurious fragrant spa treatment that you can enjoy at home. The essential oils will soften and scent your skin and the petals will enhance the fragrance.

Tips & Warnings

  • Consider decanting smaller amounts of your Egyptian musk fragrance into individual bottles to carry in your purse. Sprinkle a few drops of Egyptian musk fragrance in your lingerie drawer to scent your intimate apparel.

  • As with any fragrance, avoid getting this formula in your eyes.
