How to Make Baby Hairbows
Tiny babies look androgynous unless the little girls are wearing hair bows. The trick is to fasten it to their wispy strands of hair and get it to stay there. If you have a stray clamp-style hemostat laying around, It will hold a small hank of hair long enough to fasten a soft elastic hair bow around the shaft. These girlie bows are quick and easy to make.

Tips & Warnings
Make a hair bow for each outfit. If you sew your little girl's clothing, use matching material and ribbons in the bow. Different types of buttons work well as themes. Try bumble bees, kittens or rainbows and coordinate your scraps of material, nylon net and ribbons to the button. You can glue on jewels. Do not make the bows too large, or they will flop around and the weight will pull them off these silky little hairs.
Embellishments must be securely stitched or glued so they are not choking hazards.
