Welded wire fencing is a lightweight multipurpose fencing that can contain your small livestock, such as goats, or protect your garden from night invaders. The fencing is made out of wire that has been welded together to make a fence. You can purchase welded wire fencing in different gauges depending on your needs. The heavier the gauge the stronger the fence and the better the protection to keep your heavier livestock contained.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Hammer the first T post closest to the building where you want to begin your fence.

  2. Step 2

Measure 8 feet from that T post and hammer the next T post into the ground. Continue every 8 feet until the T posts make up the perimeter of your fence.

  3. Step 3

Place welded wire onto the first T post near the building by simply placing it against the bar.

  4. Step 4

Place metal ties around the wire and T post. Twist the metal tie, in a similar manner to how you twist a tie on a loaf of bread, to secure the fence to the T post.

  5. Step 5

Continue securing the wire to each T post until the perimeter is secured in fencing. No stretching is necessary since welded wire is stiff.
