British Candle Party Favors
-
1
Purchase small china tea cups with matching saucers, tealight candles, small cards and ribbon in one of the colors chosen for your party decorations.
-
2
Place one tealight candle in each cup.
-
-
3
Write or print out what you'd like to say on the small cards. If the candle favors are for a wedding, you could put the couple's names and the date of the wedding.
-
4
Punch a hole in each card and then thread a ribbon through the hole. Make sure the ribbon is long enough to go around the tea cup and be tied in a bow.
-
5
Tie a ribbon with a card around each tea cup.
Votive Candle Party Favors
-
6
Purchase votive candles, tulle and ribbon in one of your party's colors and labels with a sticky back that are small enough to fit on a votive candle.
-
7
Print the labels out on your printer with an appropriate message. The date of the party or something related to the theme will work as the message.
-
8
Attach a label to each votive candle.
-
9
Cut a piece of tulle to fit around each votive candle and still have some on top. Cutting the tulle in circles can make this easier.
-
10
Cut pieces of ribbon to tie around the excess tulle at the top of each candle and then tie up the tulle with the ribbon.

Tips & Warnings
Instead of tea cups, try small ceramic containers, such as small garden pots, small ceramic animals or ceramic eggs.
