How to Measure for a BDU Size

Selecting the proper size for a Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) is easy if you measure yourself accurately. Practice good posture while being measured to insure a proper measurement. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

      Take the waist measurement by standing tall and measuring over your shirt at your waist.

      Then move on to the inseam. First, find pants that currently fit you well. Lay them flat with the side seam facing up.

      Smooth all the front and back creases, and straighten as well.

    • 4

      Measure the length of the inside seam from the crotch to the bottom of the hem.

    • 5

      To measure the chest, place the measuring tape under the arms, across the back and over the chest in the front.
