Things You'll Need:
- Adobe Photoshop 5.0 ~ CS4
- PC Windows XP or Vista operating system

Step 1
Color for grassOpen Photoshop and use a "grass green color" for the background.

Step 2
Start with a new canvas. Use (w)800 x (h)600 pixels for the size, and 150dpi for the resolution. Select "Background Color" in the Contents section. Click OK.

Step 3
Grass texture templateGo to Filter > Noise > Add Noise. Enter the below settings:
Use the volume 52 for the "Amount", select "Gaussian Blur", and put a check mark in the "Monochromatic" box. Click OK to make an image like this. -
Step 4
Gaussian blur filterFilter > Blur > Gaussian Blur. Enter "0.8" pixel for the blur amount. Click OK.

Step 5
Wind filterFilter > Stylize > Wind. For the "Method" select "Stagger", then click on "Right" for the blow direction.

Step 6
Apply second wind filterRight-click mouse on the image, choose "Select All". Right-click again and select Free Transform > Rotate 90CW. Repeat Step 5; but click on "Left" for the wind direction this time.

Step 7
Grass textureRepeat Step 5 to bring the image back to original direction. Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen Edges. Go to Image > Adjust > Brightness/Contrast.
Set "Brightness" to 5, and "Contrast" to 16.
For other grass colors, (e.g. brown, tan, yellow) go to Image > Adjust > Color Balance, and make color changes on the pop-up window using the color sliders.
Project finished.
