Picture your home as you would like it to be. When beginning to clear your home of clutter, think of whether an item fits into that vision or not. If it does not, it should go.

If you feel you can not get rid of the clutter in your house because you need a whole day, that is not true. You can break it down to 20 minutes a day. Put in 20 minutes 1 or 2 days a week. If you pair this with not buying new items, you will see a change in no time.

Carry two large garbage bags. One bag is for charity and one bag is for trash. If you fill only one bag a week, you will have cleared your home of 4 bags of clutter in one month.

Talk to your family aobut what you are trying to accomplish. Tell them you want to work together as a team to keep the house clutter-free.

5
Celebrate. As you clear a room of clutter, enjoy a special treat with your family. Just be sure it is not something that will add to the clutter!

Let go of items you can not use now. Don't hang on to a bunch of items with the hopes you will use it "one day". If the item is not something you can use in your current house, you may not need it.
