In order to simplify writing an excellent speech, be specific in what you want your message to be and how it needs to be delivered. This article will help you decide how to best do this.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Pencil and paper or computer
  1. Step 1

One quick and easy way to organize an excellent speech is the flower approach. Draw a three petalled flower with a round circle in the middle, just like you did in elementary school.

  2. Step 2

Put your speech subject in the middle of the flower and write three points you want to make- one on each petal. For instance, the middle might say education and the three petals may say elementary school, middle school and high school.

  3. Step 3

Draw a stem and it will be the title for your conclusion. For example, how they all come together to provide a solid education.

This simple approach will help you gather your thoughts. It serves as a simplified outline and an imagery technique to help you stay focused on your points.

  4. Step 4

If you need to add more points, add more petals or two or three leaves to discuss before going to the conclusion.

Tips & Warnings
