Things You'll Need:
- Pencil and paper or computer
-
Step 1
One quick and easy way to organize an excellent speech is the flower approach. Draw a three petalled flower with a round circle in the middle, just like you did in elementary school.
-
Step 2
Put your speech subject in the middle of the flower and write three points you want to make- one on each petal. For instance, the middle might say education and the three petals may say elementary school, middle school and high school.
-
Step 3
Draw a stem and it will be the title for your conclusion. For example, how they all come together to provide a solid education.
This simple approach will help you gather your thoughts. It serves as a simplified outline and an imagery technique to help you stay focused on your points. -
Step 4
If you need to add more points, add more petals or two or three leaves to discuss before going to the conclusion.
