There are many effective ways to treat this fungus, which causes your skin cells to shed more rapidly than that of other people. This article will cover some of these treatments as well as the possible cause of your dandruff in the first place.

      Take your Omega-3 fatty acids.
      One of the symptoms of Omega-3 fatty acid deficiency is dandruff. And the truth is that this deficiency is very common. Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in evening primrose oil,chia seeds,flax seen oil, and krill or fish oil.

      Try a shampoo made with tea tree oil which is a strong anti-fungal. Or even adding a few drops of tea tree oil to your shampoo. After shampooing you can rinse your hair with a apple cider vinegar rinse.

      Be sure to use a gentle shampoo that is free from SLS or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate which is a foaming agent that is responsible for many different skin conditions such as eczema.

      In between shampoos you can apply an equal mix of apple cider vinegar, and water to your scalp using a cotton ball.

      Once or twice a week do a scalp treatment that consists of fresh lemon juice mixed with coconut oil. Massage this into the scalp and leave on for 20 minutes before washing your hair.

      Cut back or if you can eliminate sugars and processed foods from your diet for a while. And at the same time try adding either Olive Leaf Extract or Coconut Oil to your diet. Both of these items are strong anti-fungals and one of the best ways to treat dandruff is to attack the problem internally as well as externally.
