How to Make Homemade Pinacolada Ice Cream

On a hot summer's day there is nothing like the yummy taste of homemade Pinacolada Ice Cream. And it is so easy to make that even the kids can make their own, here's how.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4tsp vanilla extract
  • 2Tbsp crushed pineapple
  • 2Tbsp flaked coconut
  • 1/2c whole milk
  • 1/2c rock salt
  • Ice cubes
  • Pint size ziplock bag
  • Gallon size ziplock bag
  • Small bowl
  1. Step 1

    Pour the sugar, vanilla, crushed pineapples, and flaked coconut into the pint size ziplock bag.

  2. Step 2

    Gently squeeze the air out of the bag then seal it tightly.

  3. Step 3

    Squeeze the bag gently with your fingers until the ingredients are well mixed.

  4. Step 4

    Add the milk and repeat steps 2 and 3.

  5. Step 5

    Pour the rock salt into the gallon size ziplock bag, then fill it half way up with ice cubes.

  6. Step 6

    Place the sealed pint size bag into the gallon size bag with the rock salt and the ice cubes, then seal tightly and shake for 5 to 10 minutes or until the liquid in pint bag becomes ice cream.

  7. Step 7

    Pour it into the small bowl and enjoy.
