Making your emails personal is simple to do with a signature. Many people simply create a text signature, but what if you want to create a signature with pictures in Microsoft Outlook Express? There are two ways to do this. Both are easy, and after you have decided on your image, you can have custom emails sent to everyone in your address book.

Things You'll Need:

  • Microsoft Outlook Express

Create a Signature with an Image

  1. Step 1

Create a file to use for a signature. You can cut and paste a picture into a document or use a single picture as your signature. Remember the file name and location of the image file.

  2. Step 2

Go to the "Tools" menu, then choose "Options" and click on the tab marked "Signatures."

  3. Step 3

Click on the "New" button, and in the bottom half of the page under the "Edit Signature" section, click the circle next to "File" and then click the "Browse" button. Find the file you have created in step 1 for your signature and select it.

  4. Step 4

At the top of the "Signature" page, choose whether you want to add this signature to all of you outgoing mail or to only use it for original compositions (not replies or forwards) by checking the appropriate box. Click "OK" and your signature is created.

  5. Change Your Stationary to Include an Image

  6. Step 1

Select "Tools" from the menu bar and then click on "Options."

  7. Step 2

Open the "Compose" tab, and put a check mark in the box next to "Mail."

  8. Step 3

Click on the "Select" button and find the stationary file you want to add to your emails. These are email formats that often have images, specific fonts or layouts. Click "OK" and the chosen stationary will be used for all emails you compose, forward or reply to.
