Instructions

    • 1

Put on a pair of black pants and black long-sleeved top. This will form the underlying basis of the costume.

    • 2

Make the character's helmet. Glue or tape olive green fabric around a football helmet. The fabric should run all around the helmet so that the underlying color cannot be seen.

    • 3

Drape a piece of plastic large enough to fit over the front of the helmet. The plastic should completely cover the front of the helmet and hang down so that it obscures the wearer's face. Attach it to the sides of the helmet with strips of tape or glue. Poke holes in the plastic so that the wearer can breathe.

    • 4

Make the top of the body armor. Wrap olive green oak tag paper around the arms and legs of the black top to form a cylinder. Staple the ends together in the part nearest the body.

    • 5

Make the bottom of the body armor. Wrap olive green oak tag paper around the thighs and legs of the black pants. Staple the ends together in the part nearest the body.

    • 6

Wrap olive oak tag paper around a pair of sneakers to form the feet of the costume. Staple or tape the oak tag paper to the back of the sneakers.

Tips & Warnings

  • If olive green oak tag is unavailable, you may also use olive green felt, cardboard or dyed Styrofoam.
