Many things can be done on a skateboard, from regular travel to professional skateboarding to all sorts of tricks. The trade flip on a skateboard is a flip that's fairly advanced. The trade flip is one of the most difficult and has many names: tre flip, trade flip, kick flip and 360 flip.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Position your back foot, so the weight is on the heel and your toes are hanging off the back end of the skateboard. Make sure that you can maintain your balance with this stance.

  2. Step 2

Put your front foot on the middle of the board, facing forwards at about a 45-degree angle. Bend your knees and rock yourself back and forth a few times to maintain a comfortable balance and to make sure you can control the board during riding.

  3. Step 3

Pop the front of the board upwards. Do this by transferring your weight to your back foot and sliding your back foot off the tail of the board.

  4. Step 4

Bring both feet off the board and tip it with your foot, as if you are trying to kick it away from yourself. Do this only once the front of the board is up, and bring both feet off the board, tipping it with your foot as if you are trying to kick it away from yourself. This will cause the board to spin.

  5. Step 5

Allow the board to do one full revolution while you are in the air. If you are unsure, land with both feet on the ground or with one foot on the ground and the other on the board. This is the safest way to land. If you are confident, though, that you can land the trick, come down hard on the board once it is flat but keep yourself balanced.
