How to Make Kiki Cannibal Jewelry

Kiki Kannibal-like style

Kiki Kannibal is a designer who makes big, flashy jewelry. She uses crystals to decorate her jewelry and accessories. Her designs are different from the jewelry you would find in a department store. They sparkle and are colorful. Above all they are big and flashy. If you like her jewelry but cannot afford to buy a piece or just want a different design, you can make a Kiki Kannibal-inspired item at home.

Things You'll Need

• Crystals
• Semitransparent paper
• Scissors
• Plastic craft sheets
• Glue
• Jump ring
• Necklace

Instructions

1. Make a jewelry pendant template. Trace a picture of a heart or star on a piece of semitransparent paper. Cut out the picture and place it on the plastic craft sheet. Carefully cut out your template.

2. 

   Arrange your stones on the template. Make sure that every stone is spaced correctly for the design.

3. Glue the stones onto the template. When it is finished, let the pieces sit in an undisturbed area until the glue dries.

4. 

   Add your jump ring or crimp connector. These are used to connect the design to a necklace or earring. They are usually placed right on top of the design, centered in the middle. Glue the ring to the project and let it dry completely.

Tips & Warnings

• Plastic craft sheets come in many colors, so you can match them to the crystals. If crystals are too expensive, you can use rhinestones. Use a similarly colored ribbon or cord instead of a necklace to hang your design on.

• Use a waterproof, strong holding glue for this project.
