      Add 3 tbsp. baking soda to 1 cup boiling water. Pour the mixture down your garbage disposal and rinse well. Do this once a week to keep your garbage disposal fresh and odor free.

      Sprinkle baking soda onto your rugs and carpet. Allow to sit for half an hour before vacuuming. This works especially well if you have indoor pets.

      Open a box of baking soda and put it in the back of your fridge to keep the fridge smelling clean and odor free. The baking soda will absorb the odors that can often be found in your fridge.
