How to Build a Recruitment Website
A recruitment website is an electronic means to recruit potential candidates to work for your firm or organization. Having this sort of tool can benefit your company tremendously by giving you access to a large pool of applicants you, otherwise, may have never met. Make sure that you have built an efficient recruitment website. If you build it, they will come. But when they come, what will they find?

1
Purchase a domain name for your recruitment website. Select a web host to host your site. Log into the control panel of your recruitment site to begin creating web content for the pages.
-
2
Create a page on your recruitment website that explains who your company is, what your company does, how long the company has been around, company mission and goals. By doing so, you are allowing the applicant to get to know who you are. The applicant can then make an informed decision of whether he is looking for what your company has to offer.

3
Incorporate a job search engine on your recruitment website. The job search engine should allow the applicant to search for jobs available within your organization. You can also break the job listings down into categories, such as customer service and management. List the job responsibilities, compensation amount and deadlines for submitting applications. Include the shift the applicant would have to work if hired for the position, along with any benefits package that comes with the job.
-
4
Implement a way for the applicant to electronically submit her online application and/or resume. This can be done via an online form or via a link on your website that she can send an email to. You can also incorporate online assessment tests or pre-evaluations to screen your applicant pool. This is beneficial as it will weed out the applicants who might not be the best fit for your company.
-
5
Compose an email auto-response that will be sent to all applicants who submit their information electronically. The auto-response should advise the applicant that your company has received his application. You can let him know the time frame he can expect to hear from you or what he can expect to happen as the next step of the process.
-
6
Market your recruitment website via newspaper classified ads and other media outlets such as radio and television. Don't forget to submit your website address to search engines to increase traffic to your site.
