Set Up a Voice Chat With Gmail

Create a Gmail account if you do not already have one. Log-in to your account. Click on "Options" in the middle of the left sidebar.

Choose "Add voice and video" and follow the prompts to install the necessary plug-in. Restart your browser after the plug-in is installed.

Select your settings and click "Save Changes."

Set your chat status in the left sidebar to indicate that you are available to chat.

Hover your mouse over your contacts and select "Invite to Chat." Select the contacts you would like to send an invitation to and click "Send Invites."

Wait to receive confirmation that your invitation was accepted.

Download and install Yahoo Messenger. Activate your account.
