How to Install Microsoft NetMeeting

Microsoft NetMeeting is a video conferencing application that was included in various versions of Microsoft Windows. The application has voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) capabilities that allows users to make telephone and conference calls using their computers. It also has video conferencing, file transfer and desktop sharing options.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open a web browser and go to the Microsoft NetMeeting download page (see Resources).

  2. Step 2

    Click "Download."

  3. Step 3

    Click "Run" and the program will download to your computer.

  4. Step 4

    Click "Yes" to begin the installation wizard. Click "Yes" to accept the licensing agreement. Click "Install."

  5. Step 5

    Click "Finish" after the installation has completed. Restart your computer. NetMeeting is now installed on your computer and ready to use.

Tips & Warnings
  • Microsoft NetMeeting is not compatible with Windows Vista.
