Sometimes burner lids start looking old; other times homeowners simply want to change the look of their GE gas range. If the burner lids on your GE range need replaced, you can do this in a matter of seconds. Burner lids are lids that protect the burners on your GE gas range and add a bit of decoration to your appliance.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Check that the burners on your GE gas range are turned off. Make sure all knobs are in the "off" position.

  2. Step 2

Remove your old burner lids by simply pulling them off of your GE gas range's burners. Because you are going to be replacing the burner lids, you will be throwing these away, so you don't need to worry about breaking them.

  3. Step 3

Measure the old burner lids before throwing them away, because you want to purchase burner lids that are the exact same size.

  4. Step 4

Replace your new burner lids on your gas GE range. Simply place the new burner lids over the burners. As long as they line up and fit correctly, your job is complete.
