How to Convert a Flash Movie to GIF
Adobe Flash is a file format (swf) developed by Macromedia in the late 90s and picked up by Adobe. Flash is a rich media file format used to create movies, games and other multimedia projects. Creating Flash files requires the use of expensive software such as the Adobe Flash program, but reading the files can be done with the use of Adobe's free Flash player. The trouble is, the Flash player often has compatibility issues with certain browsers. Many webmaster work around this by converting Flash files to animated GIF (Graphics Interchange Format).
