Providing class parties for your child's days at elementary school can be fun for everyone. But getting the funds to support them is like pulling teeth.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • zip-lock bags, note cards, large jar
  1. Step 1

The best way to collect money from parents for class parties is to make it fun for the kids, while taking money from the parents that isn't of much worth to them. Which means...COLLECT CHANGE!! People put so much weight on a dollar bill but dismiss the meaning of coins. By collecting coins you will earn 10x's the amount you would have if you asked for only a few dollars from parents.

  2. Step 2

Gather at least 2 bags per child and write out fun slogan on note cards announcing that the kids are collect coins for to raise funds for their class party. Attach the note cards to each bag.

  3. Step 3

Bring a large Jar for the kids to fill to the class and have the teacher explain to the kids that they want to fill it up! Then hand out 1 bag per child for them to bring home.

  4. Step 4

Repeat by handing out the bags once a week until your goal is reached. Then take the money to your local bank that has a "coin-counting" machine.
