When you go on a vacation for extended amount of time, you may want to cut back on expenses and staying at a cheap hotel room is a good way to save. Finding a cheap hotel room is not hard, and considering the current state of the economy, you should be able to find deals abound. With the internet, finding a cheap hotel room is almost too easy.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Go to Priceline to bid on a cheap hotel room. Priceline let’s people bid a price for a hotel room. If the price is accepted by the hotel, then you get the room. If not, then you’ll have to bid again for a cheap hotel room.

  2. Step 2

    Go to Hotwire to search for a cheap hotel room. Hotwire and other similar sites like Orbitz lets you search for a cheap hotel room. Hotels that haven’t booked out their rooms will put these rooms up on these sites at a discount. You can pick up a cheap hotel room the closer to the day you book and stay.

  3. Step 3

    Go to AAA to find a cheap hotel room. If you are an AAA member, you can usually get discounts on a hotel. Just present your card at the hotel and the discount will be set.

on 8/5/2009 Real good advice I know from experience these sites give you awesome deals. This weekend I was able to afford to buy a few rooms to party in a local city with my friends for about the same price it would have been for one room. Come ck out my article about saving money on hotels too.
