How to Make Cheap Wedding Favors With a Cookie Buffet
Being on a budget doesn't mean you can't provide your guests with a favor as they leave. A cookie buffer provides a delicious, inexpensive option in which guests will delight. With some advance baking, or ordering from the caterer, prepare an array of options that your guests will enjoy the day after the ceremony. Set the cookie buffet up after the cake is cut to ensure that guests have an opportunity to enjoy the reception prior to choosing their wedding favor.

Bake or buy enough cookies to create a varied buffet of four to eight options. Assume at least two cookies per couple, depending on size. If you're providing smaller cookies, assume four to six cookies per couple.
-
2
Print a short list of options for the guests, explaining what each cookie is and detailing ingredients in case of allergy.
-
-
3
Prepare an example of the favor for easy pick up for guests, and to provide a suggestion as to the quantity each favor should contain.
-
4
Place the cookies in a jar or on a platter. Provide tongs to help guests retrieve the cookies.
-
5
Provide cellophane bags into which the couples place their cookies as well as a sticker with the wedding couple's names and wedding date. Provide ribbon to tie around the neck of the bag to seal it shut.
