eHow is a great tool for learning and making a little income but Writer's block can set in quickly. At first great ideas for eHow articles pop into our heads one after another and after a while it can be frustrating to come up with those great ideas. Use these tips for coming up with a little inspiration.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Brainstorming
    Brainstorming

Brainstorm on a piece of paper your ideas, starting with your expertise at the top. Branch down into other areas, and eventually you'll have a whole paper of things you could write great articles about.

  2. Step 2

Read the paper every day for ideas. I like to look at sections that interest me and see if their are any current events that could make for good articles. Writing topical articles is always a great idea as search engines like google will direct people to those popular searches.

  3. Step 3

ideas for articles will pop into your heads when you least expect it so carry a small notebook with you. Write down the eHow article ideas as soon as it comes to you because you will forget it within 15 minutes. Target or Wal Mart carry little notebooks for less than a dollar.

  4. Step 4

Research the top requested articles to see if their is something you are familiar with. This is a great way for overcoming writers block. This is a great resource because the work of coming up with great ideas has been done for you, all you have to do is save it as a draft so no one else takes it and you can do the article later.

  5. Step 5

Use Google AdSense and Wordtracker.com for ideas on heavily searched items. Google adsense will also show you the cot per click so you can pick ideas that will bring in more revenue.

Tips & Warnings
  • Ask friends what they have on their minds. Conversations will bring up stuff to help overcome eHow writers block.
  • Walk around your house and look at stuff, go into your garage for ideas for articles.
  • Don't write articles that cover things people have already covered many times over. Try to find articles that haven't been written.
