By becoming a faster typer it can make your online experiences even better. Here are a few ways to increase your typing speed.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Typing program.
If your typing is not where you would like it to be at, buy a typing program for your computer. Many of them are very inexpensive and some you can even download for free. Most of them will allow you to begin at the level you are currently at. Not all computer users start out at the same typing level when they are on a computer, so choose one that you can do but is also challenging. Don't choose a typing program that is too easy for you, you won't get any better if you do not push yourself.

  2. Step 2

    Learn the homerow keys.
When typing this is very important for speed and accuracy. It might feel a little wierd in the beginning but after some time and practice on your typing program it will begin to feel like second nature. If you have a job that requires a lot of typing, this will definitely come in handy. You will find that you can get work done much quicker than you normally do.

  3. Step 3

    Practice.
Even if you already know your homerow keys and you are great at all the typing programs. Practicing can be anything that you type of with your keyboard, whether you are typing papers or writing in your blog. You will notice the more you type the less you have to look down at your hands while typing. Eventually you will not look at your hands at all and have very few errors. It is very amazing to see how far you can come from not knowing how to type to becoming a great typer.
